Pokémon Sun & Moon Rumours
There are rumours abound on certain features of Pokémon Sun & Moon, due out in November. This is because they are a new generation, and not a remake as Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire were, so very little information is still known.
Of course, we covered its inclusion at Nintendo's E3 event, but other than a few trailers and titbits we know practically nothing about the hundreds of pocket monsters, or the island chain of Alola.
That's where a reddit user comes in. Claiming to have had something to do with Pokémon games of the past, as well as this one, they've revealed a whole bunch.
Mega evolutions are confirmed to return, and we believe this one most of all because hours beforehand a different user had confirmed the same thing. There will be a trailer released on 12th August that shows some of the new forms. These will include the Johto starter Pokémon Chikorita, Totodile and Cyndaquil, as well as their evolutions, and some of the Pokéon confirmed to have Alolan forms.
There will be a battle resort, rather than a battle frontier, available in the post-game. The game itself is much longer than past titles.
A trainer from Kanto (Red, Blue, Yellow) will make a reappearance.
There is a Z-Crystal (talked about here) for each type (Fire, Ghost, Psychic, Flying...). The crystals call upon the power of Zygarde (introduced in Pokémon X & Y), hence the name.
The starter final evolutions leaked in a Chinese ad are true:, and so the evolutions go: Rowlet - Grottowl - Robingroot, Litten - Felithe - Panthster & Popplio - Searen - Entermaid. The names of the final evolutions are based on British folklore.
Rideable Pokémon not revealed in the recent trailer are: Gyarados, Talonflame & Pidgeot.
There are 120 new Pokémon.
