Pokémon Go's Seasons Greetings and Santa-Chu Hunt Returns

Pokémon GO is like the gift that keeps on giving, kinda. Whether or not you're still part of the craze or cult following, it's still going strong. And for another Christmas, Pikachu is donning a Santa hat once more and waiting to be caught once again. There's also increased encounters of Ice and Water-type Pokémon during the event. Between now (at time of writing) to the December 25 at 1:00 PM PST, the first PokéStop you visit will award a single-use Egg Incubator and Photo Disk Spin. As well as the ability to purchase special boxes that feature Super Incubators, Lure Modules, and Star Pieces, that will earn you bonus Stardust for 30 minutes once activated.

But the festivities don't just stop there, the official Pokémon GO blog post (link) hints towards to the appearance of a certain Ice-type Pokémon who comes bearing gifts. Also appearing are a select number of Water-type Pokémon and going by their banner. This looks to feature: Luvdisc, Milotic, Sharpedo, and Snorunt. As well as the Legendary Pokémon Kyogre, as part of the Hoenn region from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. 

Following from the 25th December, until 4th January, there will be the ability to purchase more special boxes that feature Premium Raid Passes, Super Incubators, and Star Pieces. Are you in a more festive mood knowing this is happening? Comment below your festiveness and your cutest Pikachu.
