Pokémon Go Getting Gen Three Pokémon and Weather Effects
Pokémon Go isn't slowing down any time soon as it has been revealed that later this week the third generation of Pokémon will be joining the title.
The update will see the likes of Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip and over 50 more Pokémon from the Hoenn Region be made available to capture. Coming from the Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire games, originally released on the Game Boy Advance, there are some fan favorites to be found here.
Not only that but in the update will also be a new weather system in the game. This will use local weather data to relay the current climate in Pokémon Go. The results will be some impressive visual changes on the games map and an impact on the Pokémon that might appear as well. This means that players will see the catch rate of some Pokémon change depending on the time of day and weather. This should hopefully mean that no matter the weather, players will always find something interesting to catch.
Pokémon Go is available now for iOS and Android devices with the new update rolling out later this week. Recently, players caught over 3 billion Pokémon world wide to see the Japan exclusive Farfetch'd released across the global for a 48 hour window.
