PlayStation Showcase: Alan Wake 2

Thanks to PlayStation's latest showcase, we now know that Alan Wake's upcoming sequel will be released on the 17th of October this year! In the short snippets we saw through the cinematic, we see that the titular writer is still stuck in the other nightmarish world.

During the reveal trailer, we get to see a new playable character: an FBI agent who is on the case, presumably looking for Mr. Wake. It seems that we will be playing snippets with him and her to unravel the story of how he makes it out.
