PlayStation Plus Games for May 2022

The PlayStation Plus line-up for May is all about curses, tribes and... balls? Starting Tuesday 3rd May, you can look forward to three new "freebies". Let's have a look at them, shall we?

First up is FIFA 22 for both PlayStation 4 and 5. You know the drill here: it's football, if you dislike it, the game isn't for you. If you love it? Well, then you probably already own the game. Still, this years game sees big changes made to the player movements thanks to the "HyperMotion Technology", so lace up those boots and go score some goals!

Next we have Curse of the Dead Gods for PlayStation 4, a roguelike that you'll need all of your skill (and a bit of luck) to succeed at. Collect an arsenal of weapons and mysterious relics whilst battling hordes of enemies and evading a multitude of traps. Each curse you posses can be both a blessing and a curse, creating a balancing act and an incredibly satisfying risk/reward system.

Tribes of Midgard for both PlayStation 4 and 5 is our third and final game this month, a survival action-RPG set in a vibrant world full of Norse mythology. Form a party with up to 10 other players to defend the lands against the evil forces hellbent on bringing about Ragnarök. You'll need to forage for items and materials in order to grow in strength, before taking on beats of North legend!

And that's your lot for another month! With the all new PlayStation Plus tiers launching next month, who knows what the future holds for the quality of these "free" titles?
