PlayStation Now Open Beta Begins in North America
PlayStation Now, for those who don't know, is a service which streams games directly to your console. It has been on the cards for longer than the recently-announced EA Access, and may be behind the reason they turned EA down on having it be a part of the PlayStation 4.
Regardless, PlayStation Now is available on every PS4 in North America from today, allowing you to play over one hundred PS3 games right on your PS4 - so long as you have a 5mbps internet connection or better. It may work on slower, but don't count on it.
The price per game is tiered, so you can have it for four hours or 90 days, as shown in the walkthrough video above.
Although apparently a subscription-based service is in the works, so expect that to make prices seem a little more fair. For instance, Darksiders II is available via Amazon for less than $5, and you can keep it for much longer than a week if you want.
To get to PlayStation Now, just go into the PlayStation Store and the options are there.
