PlayStation Now Getting A Large Price Drop
Sony have finally dropped the price on their videogame streaming service PlayStation Now, slashing costs in five different regions as well as adding more of their key titles to the service. The announcement came in the form of a post on the official PlayStation Blog, which also details a lot of the minutiae in regards to PlayStation Now’s new changes.
These price drops include:
- US: $9.99 – monthly / $24.99 – quarterly / $59.99 – yearly (from $19.99/ $44.99/ $99.99)
- CAN: $12.99 – monthly / $34.99 – quarterly / $79.99 – yearly (from $19.99/ $44.99/ $99.99)
- EU: €9.99 – monthly / €24.99 – quarterly/ €59.99 – yearly (from €14.99/ (N/A)/ €99.99)
- UK: £8.99 – monthly / £22.99 – quarterly/ £49.99 – yearly (from £12.99 / (N/A) / £84.99)
- JP: ¥1,180 – monthly / ¥2,980 – quarterly / ¥6,980 yearly (from ¥2,500 / ¥5,900 / (NA)
Four new large AAA titles are also being added to service and will be accessible until 2nd January 2020. These titles are God of War (2017),Grand Theft Auto V, inFamous: Second Son and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Arguably the most alluring of these titles is God of War, which was a huge critical success last year, managing to snag a majority of game of the year awards across numerous publications.
