PlayStation 4 Beta Test and Release Date of Final Fantasy XIV Announced

Square Enix has announced the beta test and release dates for Final Fantasy XIV this past week including the methods for upgrading the PlayStation 3 client to the PlayStation 4 version.

Alongside the greater graphics power and detail the PlayStation 4 version features full 1080p visuals, PlayStation Vita remote play support, share button support, Mouse and keyboard support for those coming across from PC and dualshock 4 touchpad support for the new systems controller.

Alongside the collectors edition toys from the Windows and PlayStation 3 they have added the Fat Chocobo mount and Wind-up Moogle companion.
