Player Housing is Coming to Guild Wars 2 in the New Expansion, Janthir Wilds!

The popular MMORPG, Guild Wars 2, recently ended the story of it's fourth expansion, Secrets of the Obscure, ending the war with the Kryptis and returning Tyria to a sense of peace. However, as any warrior knows, peace cannot last for long as eyes drift toward the Janthir Wilds.

Explore the untamed wilds of primordial Janthir and face its roaming titans , rocky shores, and other, more sinister, forces. To aid you on this venture, you will be able to tame the feral Warclaws of the Lowland Koda and build your mounts special skills. Additionally, you will have the chance to master the newest terrestrial weapon added, the once underwater-only spear, which each of the game’s nine professions will be able to wield!

Finally, a long-requested feature will be added with the expansion: Player Housing! With a brand new customization and decorating interface, heroes can create and adorn their very own housing space for their friends and guild mates, making Guild Wars 2 feel even more like home.

Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds is set to release on 20th August 2024 with three major updates planned to run between August 2024 to Summer 2025. The expansion is up for pre-order now!
