Play With Emotions and Assault Senses in Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs
Visual Novel Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Daybreak: Special Gigs is now available on Steam. It’s set, like all good visual novels, in a school. The games takes you through the mysterious underworld of Tokyo and sees you living out your school days while events transpire. The fate of your relationship with other characters is set in place by your actions throughout the game. With an expanded story, the new ‘Daybreak’ scenario and an improved battle system, Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs is being billed as “the ultimate edition of Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters”
The unique selling point of Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters: Daybreak Special Gigs is the “sensory input system” that developer Toybox Inc have created. You choose an emotion from love, anger, sadness, friendship and anxiety, and then combine it with one of the five senses (touch, taste, hearing, smell, and sight). This gives you a slew of potential combinations to play with, giving different reactions from characters depending on how you approach the situation. For example, you could combine “love” and “touch” to give someone a hug. Or “anger” and “taste” because you’re a bit weird like that (although we might just be speaking for ourselves here). If this sounds like something you might want to do, why not check out the trailer above to see what the game is like?
