Plan B: Terraform Releases Demo Ahead of Early Access Launch

As part of the Steam Base Builder Fest and Steam Next Fest, you can experience the demo for the calm and contemplative resource management sim Plan B: Terraform, which is set for its Early Access launch on the 15th of February 2023. Developer Gaddy Games aims to show that humans are capable of accomplishing great things by placing players in a near future where climate change has disrupted Earth, forcing humanity into a plan B — building a colony on a new, untouched planet. 

This new start will have players making life more hospitable for humans from crafting new homes to creating entire cities. The environment will also transform through terraforming devices, which are vital to planting trees and making rain fall, and players will get familiar with the greenhouse effect and water cycle mechanisms.

With a planetary scale composed of more than a million hexagons, transporting minerals and resources will create a sense of real long-distance transportation. Plan B: Terraform also features global and real-time simulation of temperature, vegetation growth, and dynamically formed rivers and oceans.
