Pixelshire Receives Official Release Date

Life simulators are becoming a staple of the videogame industry since the first big debut of ConcernedApe's Stardew Valley. Since then, we've seen all new creative takes to the genre, and the latest one to join the fray is Merge Games' Pixelshire.

Developed by Kappa Bits, this new adventure farming sim has players embarking on a journey across Arcadia, an enchanted landscape filled with treasures and life-size glory! Head out to fish, mine, and unleash your creativity with the terraforming ability, all too rare in videogames.

As you become a prominent figure in the town, you can engage with the village decoration of Pixelshire, giving you full control over what you'll be able to do. Build roads, create hills and rivers, or even move buildings to create a town that truly feels yours; the world is yours to customise.

Start your journey across Pixelshire on PC when it releases on the 9th of May 2025, with PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions coming later this year.
