Pixel Starships Out Now

Developer SavySoda has officially launched the sci-fi strategy MMORPG Pixel Starships out of Early Access and into deep space. After seeing over six million players set off to become legendary captains of space during its development, the team is now introducing fans to a full range of features and enhancements with the launch build as well as an optimised experience for the Steam Deck.

Offering players an epic odyssey across the galaxy, Pixel Starships’ main mechanics involve designing, building, and commanding a fleet of starships. Controlling ship power and managing limited resources will be vital to keep your starships running smoothly. And with this full release comes an expanded ship-building system, ship classes, and a single-player campaign to enjoy.  Plus, there are also plenty of opportunities to engage with other players from building alliances to facing off in PvP battles.

When exploring its 8-bit universe, you can discover aliens, factions, and planets on your adventures. And if you’re a Steam Deck player, you can do this from the comfort of your couch or on the go! Since Pixel Starships is community funded and community-driven, it’s thanks to successful crowdfunding that SavySoda was able to dedicate months of development in order to refine the Steam Deck build.
