Payday 2 Free on Steam for a Limited Time to Promote the Ultimate Edition

Payday 2 is getting a new version soon: The Ultimate Edition. Producers Almir Listo and Joakin Wöntner, both owners of tremendous beards, took to Youtube to talk about the game. The re-release is set to retail for $45 (or your local equivalent) later this year and will feature the main game as well as all released content for it. In celebration, the standard edition is currently free on Steam.

This is a strictly limited edition. It's not timed, instead the offer will run until 5 million copies of the game have been downloaded, after which point it will return to its regular prize. You can nab a copy completely gratis by going to the game's Steam Store page now.
