Patch Quest Available Now
After seven years of development, Lychee Game Labs and Curve Games have officially launched Patch Quest on PC via Steam. This genre-blending title is “a twin-stick shooter combined with a monster capture game and roguelike with tons of exploration and collecting,” as described by my colleague Alana Dunitz in GameGrin’s Patch Quest review!
“Patch Quest is a labour of love,” said solo-developer Liam at Lychee Games. Whimsical and cute on the surface, but difficult and punishing at its core, Patch Quest is sure to lasso you in with its fast-paced gameplay as you leap, glide, surf, tunnel, bite, slither, websling, and explode your way through the game. You can tackle the bullet-hell chaos solo or with a friend as the game supports two-player local co-op. Players can also ride every monster in the game and earn exploration gadgets that will let you unlock additional mechanics, collect over 100 plants, unlock gates, open shortcuts to reach even more dangerous zones, and unravel the mystery of Patchlantis.
