Parts of London Declared No-Go Areas by Ubisoft
Editor's Note: The astute amongst you will have probably noticed the date on this article already. This April Fools gag was brought to you by GameGrin.com
We can reveal today that Templars are causing problems in parts of London, causing Ubisoft to state that they are no-go areas. As many as 300,000 Templars have entered the areas that even the police are afraid to enter.
The police have reportedly admitted that parts of London are being dealt with as ‘no-go’ zones, and will only drive through the areas armed and four to a vehicle. This is due to the so-called “religious courts”. Indeed, this is a parallel state - a state within a state, with its own rules where allegiance to the Templars comes ahead of fealty to the Brotherhood of Assassins.
When our reporter visited one such area, only one person shook their hand. Everyone else offered their wrist, presumably to check for hidden blades.
We have counted a record number of Templar safehouses - 160 official ones and many more unofficial! This is compared to 177 Brotherhood safehouses, which admittedly is actually more.
When we reached out to Ubisoft for comment, their spokesperson did three somersaults and jumped on the spot before their face disappeared leaving just their teeth and eyeballs.
