Paper Trail Release Date Trailer Revealed

Paper Trail, a paper-focused puzzle adventure game from developer Newfangled Games, has just revealed its release date in this new trailer. If you're unfamiliar, Paper Trail offers an adventure through a beautiful all-paper world that its protagonist, Paige, can tear, fold, and bend around to create new paths and solve other puzzles described as "simple to learn but tricky to master" on her quest to run away from home.

In the trailer, we hear Paige narrating a letter she either has written or is writing after a storm keeps her from fleeing her home of Southfold and her "two old fuddy-duddy parents" who are trying to stop her from leaving for university. Paige, a hopeful astrophysicist, discusses a desire to head out once the rain clears. At the same time, we get to see her walking around her seaside town, paper bending this way and that to reveal paths, hide characters, and connect symbols on the ground to light up and activate structures. 

Paper Trail, already the winner of many awards, will be unfolding into the world on 21 April 2024 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices through Netflix.
