P.T. Inspired Game Allison Road Cancelled
Silent Hills was the game that was never to be. Announced by way of a creative playable teaser, called simly "P.T.", the title was hugely anticipated, but ended up cancelled. It was going to be created by Hideo Kojima and seemingly became a victim of the public fallout between Kojima and Konami. The game was never picked up by another publisher and we all assumed that was the last that we would see of it.
Hope came through in the form of Allison Road, an indie title from Lilith Ltd. This was set to be a spiritual successor; an all new horror title that took inspiration from P.T. and would have had the same theme to it. The game was picked up by Team 17, who were set to publish this year. We'd even seen some gameplay from the title back in July last year.
Sadly, Allison Road has now also been cancelled. Seemingly, this is a game that simply cannot be made. We don't have a huge amount of detail as to why right now, but the developer seemed particularly upset about it in a tweet, promising to reveal more soon.
Hi all. Sadly Allison Road had to be cancelled. Statement to come in the next few days. Thx for all your support and very sad it came 2 this

Once that further statement comes, we will let you know here on GameGrin. There's been no word yet from publisher Team 17 either, but once the silence is broken, we will let you know what it is that has put the nail in the coffin of this apparently cursed game.

Damn Konami, I bet they sent some form of cease and desist. Hopefully they'll shed some light on why it's cancelled.
