Overwatch May Be Coming to Nintendo Switch

Blizzard’s award winning multiplayer shooter Overwatch may be coming to Nintendo Switch, with a listing for an Overwatch-themed Nintendo Switch case appearing on Amazon recently.

While the listing doesn’t point directly to a release of the game on Nintendo’s hybrid console, it would be odd to release a case for the system themed around the game, only to have the game not make an appearance on it. The Amazon listing has also since been deleted, which adds further fuel to the fire.

This isn’t the first time one of Blizzard’s games will have appeared on Switch, with Diablo III: Eternal Edition also appearing on the console last year. Overwatch released in 2016, and its popularity has decreased slightly over the years, so maybe a release on a new popular system will be enough to kickstart some additional interest in the game. Regardless, expect an official announcement within the coming weeks.

Overwatch is currently available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
