Outriders - Release Date Announced

We've got a release date for Outriders, People Can Fly's upcoming co-op (and cross-gen) RPG-shooter: 2nd February 2021.  That's right. By February next year, you and two pals could be blasting your way through the game's far-flung sci-fi setting and letting rip with all manner of wild powers. Check out the latest trailer above for some dramatic lines, a glimpse of some cool sci-fi armour and a briefer glimpse at some cooler sci-fi powers.

As with every cross-gen title, the question of upgrade paths is on the forefront of our minds. Thankfully, publisher Square Enix has confirmed that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners will be able to upgrade from previous to next-gen versions of Outriders at no additional cost (assuming they stick with the same platform). Additionally, we're pleased to report that full cross-play will be enabled from launch, meaning that Outriders players on every platform will be able to play side-by-side.

Outriders launches on Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and Stadia on the 2nd February 2021.
