Old School Developer Announces Old School Shooter

Capslock and double K obsessed developer REAKKTOR is back and bringing some old school wonderfulness to the Arena Shooter genre.

Acting as if the past 15 years didn't happen, they have announced TOXIKK, their latest product.

Featuring fast and precise movement, double jumps, dodge jumps, booster pick-ups, nine weapons, secondary fire modes for every weapon, vehicular game modes, jump pads, health-packs, mutators (incl. instagib) and bot mode this shall be a trip back in time to the 90s.

Reakktor say the game "plays as if today's military shooters never existed" and this can only be a good thing. There is a tiered pre-purchase system that ranges from $5 to $90 with the top one getting a boxed DVD copy of the game, Clan Admin Privileges, 4 Steam keys for the game, your name in the credits, 4 Beta Keys, custom skins and a forum badge.

Steam Early access is in Q4 2014.
