NZXT Announce Advanced Range of Fans
Pushing air around inside your PC case is an important job. With modern gaming pushing machines harder and harder, there's a lot of heat that needs moving around. Traditionally though, the fan is a pretty simple looking bit of kit. Not so the Aer RGB range from NZXT.
“As gamers ourselves, we know how important is to combine performance and aesthetics without compromising one versus the other. This is why we are expanding the HUE+ digital lighting ecosystem by designing Aer RGB to provide advanced lighting options while delivering an optimized airflow for your system. Advanced users can fully fine-tune their system’s illumination and those seeking to simply improve aesthetics will enjoy the available presets.” says Johnny Hou, NZXT’s founder and CEO."
The fans can be daisy chained together, and the lighting controlled using the HUE+ protocol. Popular monitoring package CAM is supported out of the box to create your own speed settings and light sequences.Everything is customisable from colours to flashing sequences.
They're not just a pretty face though. The fans have ultra silent fluid dynamic bearings as well as winglet blade tips to help keep the noise to a minimum/ NZXT claim 22dBA. They are available in both 120mm and 140mm options, so they're suitable for case fans as well as radiator coolers and can be bought on their own, or in a kit with the HUE+ light controller bundled.
