No More Heroes III is Slashing its Way to the Switch
Travis Touchdown's next adventure will be coming to Switch in August, it was revealed in yesterday's Nintendo Direct stream. No More Heroes III—technically the fourth game in the franchise—will be coming exclusively to Nintendo's premier platform on the 27th August 2021.
Following a re-release of the first two numbered entries in the series last year, it's never too surprising to see this all-new entry confirmed for the Switch. It appears to be taking the game's zaniness to brand-new heights, however, as protagonist Travis Touchdown is pushed into an intergalactic competition to fight for the survival of Earth and humanity.
Between life-and-death battles, though, Touchdown will have to carry out odd-jobs in a series of varied mini-games. It's the exact type of Suda51 brand of weirdness which made the original titles such a joy, and it's great to see it making a comeback.
No More Heroes III releases for the Switch on the 27th August.
