Nintendo Have Released a Trailer for Mario Kart 8
Fans of Mario Kart will be pleased to hear that it looks like we can expect more of the same from Mario Kart 8 as well as a few surprises.
From the trailer we can see all our favourites are still ready to take to their carts; Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, Bowser and Wario are all present and accounted for alongside a range of other well loved characters. The infamous boxes are still present and turtle shells and bombs are still the order of the day. We can also see a range of random racetracks including an airport, a temple and what looks like a range of giant cakes.
The stand out change appears to be the addition of antigravity! We see Mario and his racing buddies flying, gliding and riding up the walls like never before. Adding this unique perspective to an already solid and crazy racing game seems a recipe for awesome.
Mario Kart 8 will be released for the Wii U in Spring 2014.
