Ninja Theory’s New Game Leaks Ahead Of E3
Last year, Microsoft announced during their E3 Press conference that they’d be acquiring numerous new studios. One of which was Ninja Theory, who are most recently known for the critical darling Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. Just a couple of days prior to Microsoft’s 2019 conference, Ninja Theory’s new project has leaked online via a trailer.
The trailer has been filmed from a screen with some kind of handheld camera, with the words “Confidential” being layered over the top. It’s a 4v4 melee combat multiplayer game featuring several named characters, with each character seemingly have their own specific weapons and abilities. The game seems to feature a more playful and abrasive attitude that’s akin to Ninja Theory’s Devil May Cry reboot, with the artstyle more being stylised.
The trailer ends with a title reveal Bleeding Edge, and a 27th June release date for a “Technical Alpha”. A release date is currently unknown for the game.
