Next-gen Version of The Witcher 3 Gets a New Release Window

The previously announced next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt now has a tentative release date. Developer CD Projekt Red announced that the next-gen version of the game is now aiming for a Q4 2022 launch via a Twitter post: 

Let's make this 7th anniversary even better, shall we?

We're delighted to share that the Next Gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is planned to release in Q4 2022.

Originally, the next-gen version of The Witcher 3 was targeting a 2021 release date until it was indefinitely delayed to 2022. While we don't know much about what to expect from the next-gen upgrade, fans now have a release window to look forward to.
