New World's Winter Convergence Festival is Live
The holidays are upon us, everyone should cheer overjoyed.
And with these news, a new event has been deployed.
Come one come all, for a brand new patch is out, oh so fun,
Players of New World, Winter's Convergence has begun.
New World celebrates the holiday season with the Winter's Convergence festival event. This brand-new event will run from the 16th of December through to the 11th of January, giving players several weeks to be able to collect all of the rewards that will be given.
Try to stop the ruthless onslaught from the Winter Warrior, who is trying to bring the Forever Winter to Aeternum, by facing the Ice Caves, areas appearing throughout the lands that will remain as a scar upon the world unmelted, even if the Winter Warrior is to be felled.
And meanwhile, accept repeatable quests from the Winter Wanderer to earn Winter Tokens, which players will be able to trade-in at the Holiday Shop, which will contain all sorts of unique and rare cosmetic items, such as:
- Armour
- Weapons
- Furnishins
- Skins
- Consumables
- The "present giving" emote
Join the Winter Wanderer throughout all of the four villages that he set up to facilitate the cheer and joy that the Winter Convergence brings with it. Visit these villages in Everall, Monarch's Bluffs, Weaver's Fen, and Brightwood to find the Winter Wanderer and carry out his quests.
Participate in the Convergence Spirit, a special Town Project that will allow players to complete special quests to upgrade each of the settlement's Tree of Light for improved daily rewards. Along with this, each player's first three interactions will award them with presents, such as a lockbox with a gift of appreciation for partaking in the festivities. Alongside this, players that are level 60 will receive Diamond Gypsum on their first three interactions, which will allow them to form a Gypsum Orb to increase a specific item's Expertise.
What are you waiting for? New World's Winter Convergence Festival will only be available until the 11th of January, so there's still plenty of time to make up for lost time.
