New Walking Dead game from Payday 2 Developers Overkill
The Walking Dead franchise has been going from strengths to strengths since the launch of the TV show and the ongoing comics, and with the success of TellTale games The Walking Dead episodic series it looks like it's now Payday 2 developers Overkill to have their turn.
Little information is released other than the news being announced by Robert Kirkman himself on Payday 2's community page on Steam by saying:
"I'm a huge fan of what OVERKILL and Starbreeze have been able to do with PAYDAY 2,"
and
"It's just an amazing co-operative game and I'm excited to be able to announce that Skybound is partnering with OVERKILL to make a Walking Dead game. I'm happy to say that it's the co-op game that all of the Walking Dead fans have been waiting for."
The reveal trailer has been released although not much is shown.
It's an interesting development and should certainly be better than last years awful Walking Dead game from Activision The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.
We're hoping to hear more information soon.
