New Trailer for The Outlast Trials Available with the Game's Release

The Outlast Trials, a horror game by Red Barrels, known for the popular title Outlast, is available now! This new title, set in the Cold War, sees the horrid story of humans being used as guinea pigs by the Murkoff Corporation, which tests advanced methods of brainwashing and mind control.

As a player, you get to choose whether you tackle the terrifying story alone or in groups of two, three, or four people! The ultimate goal, both in co-op and singleplayer, is to survive and get out... but the only way through is to complete the Trials and MK-Challenges.

Fans of Outlast will recognise the gameplay elements, as players must hide from enemies, stealth through terrifying situations, and use any tool — such as stunning or blinding enemies — to flee difficult situations. And to make the immersion even more stomach-wrenching, there's a character customiser and a cell players will go back to after every arduous victory, which they can decorate. But don't worry if it sounds too grim — there are plenty of tools, upgrades, and perks to help everyone find their own playstyle and bring out their strengths!
