New Shadow Warrior 3 Trailer Reveals Release Date, Pre-Order Bonuses and Voice Cast
Two years after its original announcement, Shadow Warrior 3 is now closer than ever, with a new trailer showing off its snarky tongue-in-cheek humour, as well as a brand new release date: 1st March 2022, with pre-orders now available for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
A new chapter in the adventures of Lo Wang, the titular ronin with a potty mouth, Shadow Warrior 3 sees him continuing to fight demons inspired by feudal Asian folklore, armed to the teeth with insane weapons and new sidekicks, including the "overpowered god-tier witch" Motoko. Developer Flying Wild Hog and publisher Devolver Digital have also announced the voice cast for the characters, which sees both old and new faces.
Tough-talking smart-ass samurai Lo Wang is now voiced by Mike Moh (Once Upon A Time In Hollywood), and SungWon Cho (Borderlands 3, Genshin Impact) will be filling in as former villain-turned-companion Orochi Zilla. Shadow Warrior 3 also sees fan-favourite Hoji from Shadow Warrior 1 return, with Alex Dobrenko reprising the role.
Pre-order bonuses for Shadow Warrior 3 also offer incentives for players new to the series, as if you pre-order on consoles, you'll also receive the first two Shadow Warrior games for free. Pre-ordering on any platform will also grant you access to the exclusive Koromodako Katana, an eight-legged sword. Why yes, you're right, that does sound awesome.
Shadow Warrior 3 releases on 1st March 2022 for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and PC.
