New Saints Row Included in THQ Nordic Financial Reports

THQ Nordic has released its Financial Reports, and as per usual the publisher is busy overseeing numerous upcoming projects.

The first of these projects is a new Saints Row game being developed by Volition, the team who originally helmed the franchise. This new entry in the open-world gang crime franchise will be the first entry since 2015’s zaney Saints Row: Gat out of Hell..

The long-in-development Dead Rising 2 will also be making a resurgence from the dead, being helmed by Dambuster Studios. Dambuster Studios’ only development credit is for the poorly received Homefront: The Revolution.

The least insightful announcement is that Fishlabs is reportedly working on a new IP alongside several other unannounced projects. It’s entirely possible that at least one of these projects could be announced during gamescom, with THQ Nordic stating that they’ll be having a presence at the event.

Lastly, the TimeSplitters series creator has joined THQ Nordic to help decide future developments for the once beloved time-travelling first-person shooter franchise.

THQ Nordic have also acquired three new studios: Gunfire Games (Darksiders), Milestone Publishing (Moto GP), and Goodbye Kansas Game Invest (indie invest).

THQ Nordic will be at gamescom showing off a total of six titles, includingBIOMUTANT, Destroy All Humans! and a brand new unannounced title.
