New Pokémon Sirfetch'd has Been Revealed

Pokémon Sword and Shield will be including new forms of old Pokémon named Galarian forms, which are based off the British inspired Galar region featured in these games. Previously, we were introduced to the Galarian forms of the Zigzagoon evolution line and Weezing, and now we have a new Galarian form evolution called Sirfetch’d.

Fans of the original 151 will likely already know Farfetch’d, the flying type Pokémon this new evolution is based on. This Farfetch’d evolution comes with some drastic changes, with the most notable being a change into a fighting type Pokémon. The leek that Farfecth’d used to wield has also been changed into more of a sword-like shape, with Sirfetch’d also wielding a shield that looks to be a leaf. The evolution conditions are currently unknown, but with the official Twitter account claiming it’ll evolve after many battles, it seems like a level-based evolution is most likely.

Pokémon Sword and Shield are releasing 15th November, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
