New Patch for theHunter:Primal

Earlier this year, Avalanche Studios and Expansive Worlds released theHunter: Primal, a prehistoric survival game. Primal gained substantial attention and positive player feedback following its release but many people asked for new weapons, gadgets as well as an expanded endgame. So they are now releasing a patch offering exactly that. 

In the free update, they introduce the “Primal Queen”, a creature both bigger and stronger than a normal T-Rex, with improved AI and aggression turned way up. It can only be lured out of hiding by using a Scent Gland - harvested from another big T-Rex female - and only one will inhabit each server. With the introduction of the “Queen”, the world of theHunter: Primal has finally received a boss character. Taking her down will prove almost impossible for a lone hunter, requiring a team to work together.

In addition to the Scent Gland, the Drop Pod Beacon has also been introduced, which lets you respawn at its position. Also new to the game is the Axe, Reverse Crossbow and Assault Rifle. Rare dinosaurs will now also drop loot, which then will be unlocked in the store. The update is available now on Steam for all owners of the game.
