New Man of Medan Trailer Reveals Multiplayer Mode

Supermassive Games’ upcoming interactive horror title Man of Medan will feature a multiplayer mode, which allows players to control different characters and make choices that will affect the unfolding narrative.

This is a large departure from Supermassive’s 2015 title Until Dawn, which only supported one player despite giving player’s control of numerous different characters. It’s hard to argue however that this is a good fit for a game where a single choice can lead to deadly outcomes.

Man of Medan will also support single player for those who want to experience the game solo, with two-player online co-op and two-five player couch co-op making up the multiplayer options. Players can choose to work together in these modes, or betray each other to try and get the upper-hand.

Man of Medan is the first of eight current planned games in Supermassive’s The Dark Pictures anthology, with the studio aiming to release two instalments per year. Man of Medan releases 30th August for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
