New Gameplay Trailer for Ostronauts Released

A new trailer has been released for Ostranauts, the upcoming title from Modern Wolf and Blue Bottle Games that brings a "noir-space" theme to the life simulation genre, all set in the NEO Scavenger universe. 

In the game, players will design a unique spaceship, recruit a —hopefully— loyal crew and set out to make a life for themselves in the cut-throat, ultra-capitalistic solar system. Survival won't be easy, and as captain, there'll be a lot on players' shoulders: managing physical/emotional needs of the crew, ship upkeep, fuel, finances and more.

Keeping the crew satisfied won't be as easy as putting some food on the table. They'll need to be safe, fulfilled in their relationships, granted a sense of privacy and secure in their self-esteem to function as a successful unit. Neglecting these needs will quickly see the ship descend into dysfunctional chaos.

As with any good space sim, the ship —otherwise known as "home"— is a significant character unto itself. Players can customise the shape of their vessel and swap around an array of modular parts that serve a multitude of functions, interact with each other and eventually degrade through wear and tear.
