New Gameplay Trailer Breaks Down Eula's Moveset
We first saw her in the tavern and learned about her backstory, we then saw her dance with her blade, and now we see Eula in action.
The latest character to join Genshin Impact, the Cryo Claymore user Eula is almost here and ahead of her release, developer miHoYo have released a new gameplay trailer that breaks down her moveset.
Eula's normal attack allows her to perform up to five consecutive strikes with her claymore, while her charged attack will drain her stamina over time to perform continuous slashes. Once the sequence ends, she will unleash a powerful slash that can launch smaller enemies.
Her elemental skill deals Cryo damage but has different behavior depending on how it's used. Pressing the skill will unleash swift slashes, gaining Eula a stack of Grimheart which stacks up to two times. Each Grimheart increases Eula's resistance to interruption and her defense. When held, the elemental skill consumes all stacks of Grimheart to lash forward, dealing area-of-effect Cryo damage. When the stacks of Grimheart are consumed, surrounding enemies will suffer a debuff, with each stack of Grimheart being converted into an icewhirl Brand that deals additional damage.
Finally, her Elemental Burst unleash massive Cryo damage to nearby enemies and creates a Lightfall Sword that will follow her around for up to 7 seconds. While present, the Lightfall Sword gives Eula several buffs, and her attacks charge the Lightfall Sword. Once the duration ends, the Lightfall Swords descends and explodes dealing physical damage to nearby enemies. You can see all of these in action in the above trailer.
Eula will be available as part of the 'Born of Ocean Swell' banner which will also include increased drop rates for Xinyan, Xingqiu, and Beidou. The banner goes live on 18th May and will run until the 8th June.
Genshin Impact is available now on PC, Mobile, and PlayStation 4.
