New Features Coming in RESEARCH and DESTROY Update

Implausible Industries has announced the "Statistically Significant Update" update which adds a plethora of new improvements and optimizations to their title RESEARCH and DESTROY. 

The most notable feature coming is the ability to play cooperatively from the get go, which was heavily requested by fans. So thankfully, players will now be able to enjoy playing with their friends (or enemies) in online or split-screen mode as soon as they start the first campaign. 

Other new features included in the update are:

• Difficulty slider - option to choose the level of challenge per player
• Crossplay - PlayStation 5 gamers can now play with owners of PlayStation 4 too (and vice versa)
• Porting save files - players that move from the PlayStation 4 to the PlayStation 5 will be able to bring their progress along rather than having to start from scratch as before
• Framerate improvements - Xbox One owners will now be able to play RESEARCH and DESTROY at 60fps
• Attack cameras improvement - players can now choose to view Supernatural attack turns with "Opt-in" viewing
• Options improvements - new Color Blindness corect and Vibration scaling available on all platforms, as well as additional video options on PC
• Switch text improvement - Text size increased on the Nintendo Switch (and other handheld screens)
• Performance updates - rendering and network performance updates on all platforms

RESEARCH and DESTROY is out now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
