New Doom Film Announced
In 2005 and now 2018, it looks as though a new Doom movie is on the horizon. A few days ago, a tweet was sent out from actress Nina Bergman (known for such films as Assassin X and The Wayshower) stating that she'll be working on the next Doom for Universal 1440 Entertainment and that filming will take place in Bulgaria.
Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of information to go on at this point, but it's enough for fans of the seasoned shooter to get excited over at the very least.
It's also worth noting that Dwayne Johnson earlier in the month had referenced the 2005 Doom film on Twitter, which resulted in this chuckle-worthy response from the developers' homepage.
Dwayne.

All in all, it'll be interesting to see how things turn out for Universal on this front. One can only assume that with the recent rise of videogame movies (Tomb Raider, Rampage) the studio more than likely wants to take another stab at it.

Am I the only one who enjoyed the original film?

It was like 50% bland story, 50% cool idea... that made everyone sick.

Hopefully this is based on the games with hell and all.
