NetEase Announces Five Heroes In Latest Marvel Rivals Trailer

Marvel Rivals' Launch Trailer dropped the week before the game released, and though many were eager to watch it and watched it out of excitement, no one expected what would happen next: NetEase announcing five new heroes, many of which were highly anticipated characters that we'd have expected to receive in their own respective trailers.

Set to release on the 6th of December, the trailer dropped nearly exactly a week before the release of the game. The minute-long launch trailer has a new song by Chrissy Costanza (who you might know for her work with League of Legends in both "Legends Never Die" and "Phoenix") and the announcement of a fair few characters.

Officially, we now know that five characters are joining the launch crew (and these are likely to be the last few to be revealed), making the total roster of Launch Characters (so far, apparently, since there's no stopping NetEase) 33. The latest announcements were:

• Black Widow
• Cloak & Dagger
• Iron Fist
• Squirrel Girl
• The Wolverine

Since then, character trailers have dropped for both Squirrel Girl: The Unbeatable and Iron Fist: The Immortal Weapon, both of which you can also watch above past the Launch Trailer.

Marvel Rivalsis set to release on the 6th of December for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and console via PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
