NEO: The World Ends With You, Sequel to The World Ends With You, Releases Worldwide
Square Enix released NEO: The World Ends With You, the long-awaited sequel to 2007 Nintendo DS game The World Ends With You, worldwide on 27th July. Like its predecessor, NEO: The World Ends With You is an action RPG that takes place in a stylized Shibuya. Unlike the former, however, the game is fully 3D.
NEO: The World Ends With You is an RPG that puts the player in the shoes of high school student Rindo Kanade as he participates in a battle for survival known as the “Reapers’ Game.” Rindo is joined by his friend Tosai “Fret” Furesawa and many other young and stylish characters as they uncover the mystery behind the “Reapers’ Game.”
NEO: The World Ends With You is available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The game will have a PC release later this summer through the Epic Games Store. A free demo of the game that includes the first two days of the Reapers’ Game is also available, with data being transferable if the player decides to purchase the game on the same device. Digital copies of the game purchased on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch before 26th August will include the Legendary Threads Set, while physical copies purchased through Square Enix will include the Reapers’ Game Survival Set.
