NEO: The World Ends with You Release Date Revealed
Announced back in November 2020 with a release window of "summer 2021", Square Enix has now clarified that NEO: The World Ends with You will release on the PlayStation 4 and Switch on the 27th July, with a PC version still banished to the vague "summer" release window. The release date reveal came alongside an all-new trailer (shown above), which highlights the game's combat mechanics, characters and equipment system.
As the eagerly anticipated sequel to cult hit RPG The World Ends with You, released on the DS in 2007, NEO: The World Ends with You once again sees players once again competing in the mysterious "Reapers' Game" for a chance to reclaim their lost lives. With a fast-paced combat system, energetic soundtrack from composer Takeharu Ishimoto and a story filled with intrigue, NEO: The World Ends with You looks to be a worthy successor to the original.
