Myst TV Series in Development

According to Deadline.com Cyan Worlds and Legendary Entertainment have teamed up to develop a TV series based on the classic 1993 point and click adventure Myst.

Co founder Rand Miller is due to be creatively involved with the project, which will be a Defiance style crossover that will include a tablet second screen style application that people can use in tandem with the program on the screen.

Cyan is currently working on a new adventure in the same vein as Myst called Obduction, which it successfully Kickstarted in 2013. 

Myst was responsible in no small part for the switch to CD-ROM as installation media of choice back in the 90s thanks to the massive (for the time) install size and spawned four sequels and countless knock-offs.
