My Time at Evershine Kickstarter Reaches $2.5 Million Stretch Goal — This is the Only Way to Get Early Access
Pathea Games' My Time franchise has been extremely successful. With My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock setting a great precedent for the series, the team looks forward to their newest — and thus far, highly successful — release: My Time at Evershine.
Though the campaign raised eyebrows when it was announced that it would be released on Kickstarter to receive crowdfunding once more, it later came out to hit its goals in just mere hours of release. After a 30-day Kickstarter period, My Time at Evershine finished the original run, raising a little over $2.8 million, receiving 1415% of its original funding goal of $200,000. The story doesn't end there, though.
Pathea Games announced that if the campaign were to reach the goal of $2.5 million, the team would be able to entirely skip the Early Access launch on Steam and head straight to full release. Having crossed that goal, when My Time at Evershine's release comes around, it'll be without a publicly available early access period.
That said, there is still a way to get into the Alpha (and now, Beta) tests for the game. If you're hellbent on becoming the governor as quickly as possible and checking out the new and improved graphics and gameplay, then there's still a way for you to get it. Late Pledges for My Time at Evershine are still available over at the Kickstarter, where you can pledge $35, $45, $65, or $100, and all of these versions include Alpha Game Access.
This has officially become the only way to try out the game before the full release. You'll be able to help out by finding bugs and sending feedback to Pathea Games over the Alpha test period, though all of that will be hidden under a Non-disclosure Agreement, meaning you won't be able to share anything of what you experience or see until it is lifted.
My Time at Evershine's release date is set to To Be Announced on the Steam store page, but the Kickstarter has an estimated delivery of goods for May 2026.
