Muv Luv Kickstarter Funded in 8 Hours

Visual novel Muv Luv has been a huge success in Japan, selling over half a million copies and millions of figurines, manga and anime. That success so far hasn't been replicated in the western world due to the lack of an English translation. However, thanks to a successful kickstarter campaign, that's about to change.

At the time of writing, the kickstarter has been up for just one day and has made nearly $400,000, smashing through its $250,000 initial target in just 8 hours and closing in on the first of the campaign's 3 stretch goals already with another 37 days still to go.

The plan is to release the first two games; Muv Luv [Extra] and Muv Luv [Unlimited] in March 2016. These are set to be followed by the final game in the trilogy; Muv Luv [Alternative] in the summer of the same year.
