Mr Biffo Launches Digitiser Kickstarter, Funded in Under two Hours
If you're a gamer that's seen a few generations of machines come and go, and you're in the UK, then you'll no doubt remember the old Teletext magazine Digitiser. Written by the brilliant, and somewhat ascerbic talent of Mr Biffo, the pages of this eccentric gaming compendium were a staple of many a misspent youth in the nineties. After resusrrecting the brand a few years ago with website Digitiser 2000, and dipping his toe in the murky waters of YouTube last year with Found Footage, Mr Biffo is back, with an online show under the Digitiser banner.
The show has recently been launched on Kickstarter, with the £7,000 asking figure reached in just 90 minutes. At the time of writing, the fourth stretch goal has just been reached, with the campaign sitting on over £23,000 worth of funding. It'll be hosted by Biffo himself, alongside Larry Bundy Jr, Gameplay Jenny, and Paul Gannon of Cheapshow and Barshens fame. The show is also set to feature guest appearances from big names such as Stuart Ashen, Octavius Kitten, and Violet Berlin, amongst others.
There's still plenty of time to back the campaign, and get yourself some excellet swag in the process, so head on over to Kickstarter if you want to join in the retro fun. We hear they will be launching a goujon into space if they get to £30k...
