Mortal Kombat X Now Pay to Win?
It made the rounds on Twitter yesterday, when someone noticed there are microtransactions available to make Mortal Kombat X easier.
Called the Easy Fatalities, they give gamers the ability to have either five (for 79p) or 30 (for £3.99) easily inputted Fatalities - the fight finishing moves.
Purchase a pack of Easy Fatalities giving you access to Fatalities with simplified inputs.
Of course, this has caused long-time fans who have waited eagerly for this edition to feel cheated. By making it easier to do a fatality, it is felt that it takes away from the skill level required. It doesn't specify whether they only work in single-player or if they are useable in multiplayer.
How do you feel about paying to win at a fighting game?

FFS, bought two copies, wouldn't have bothered if I had just done a bit of research first, all part of it is mastering those tricky moves. Glad I didn't pay full price though :P.

I don't really see this as as much of an issue as it's being made out. I mean, in order to use "easy" fatalities, you still need to beat your opponent. If your opponent is good enough to know how to pull of the fatalities, there's a good chance that they're going to win anyway.
