More Amiibo Revealed

Nintendo have revealed the next wave of amiibo figures before the first wave have even been released. The reveal, spotted on Nintendo Japan's product page, suggests that Nintendo have begun working with third parties in creating more amiibo figures.

Nintendo's product page shows that 11 new figures are on their way, including Sonic, Mega Man, Bowser and Cartoon Link as well as a plethora of more well loved Nintendo characters. 

The first wave of amiibo, which includes Nintendo favourites such as Mario and Donkey Kong, will launch later this month, with the new wave set for release in Japan in January. There has been no confirmation on whether they will be released in other territories.
