Moonstone Island's Free Festival Update is Available Now!

Moonstone Island is a beloved creature-collecting life simulator where players can explore 100 islands, brew potions, collect tons of different Spirits, and befriend/romance a great cast of NPCs. While this title has been praised and loved ever since it released in September 2023, there was something the community continued to ask for: seasonal events. Studio Supersoft announced that they would be releasing a free update to celebrate the first anniversary, and among the new content would be events!

Now that the Festival update is out, we can talk more in-depth about what players can look forward to!

• Three seasonal events: Spirit Spring, Lunar Festival, and a Cooking Festival!
• New spirits, which are Psychic, Dark, Ice, and Electric type.
• A Community Chest can be found in Rowan's shop, where players can find free stuff and gifts.
• A new reward item from festivals has been added so that players can gift it to NPCs and gain relationship points.
• The Spirit Barn has a few exteriors now!
• A quality-of-life update to the placement of furniture has been added, which allows players to put items against walls.
• NPCs got a few more lines.

Additionally, there are a handful of decoration items that players can get, too:

• Spirit Barn Portal.
• Full Moon Statue.
• Fireworks Rug.
• Pile of Leaves.
• Ancient Spirit Statue.
• Food Festival Trophy.
• Mushroom Stool.
• Mushroom Table.
