Monster Legacy Arrives in the App Store

Featuring Pokemon-esque gameplay, Monster Legacy is a free-to-play mobile where players take on the role of the prophesied savior of Arborea, a mythical land shrouded in darkness.

Central to Monster Legacy are the titular monsters, which players collect, train and evolve to fight enemies in magical duels, ultimately saving Arborea. Gamers can also trade monsters with friends and use them to complete tap-and-click style minigames where players can customise their own island.

Monster Legacy is the work of Dundee-based indie developer Outplay Entertainment, who previously produced the arcade-style Word Idol and Bubble Blaze. Monster Legacy has already received generally positive reviews for its surprisingly in-depth gameplay and entirely free-to-play main story.
