Monster Hunter: World Breaks Series Sales Record
Monster Hunter: World is now available and over it's opening weekend of sales it has broken a record.
Capcom have revealed that in only a few days the title has shipped over five million units. In the three days following the games release worldwide the title has shipped more units then any other game in the franchise. That number includes the digital sales as well. Giving that this is the first time in over 10 years that a Monster Hunter game has been released on a PlayStation platform, and the first on Xbox, it is no surprise it has sold so well.
Monster Hunter: World is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with a PC release now set for Fall 2018.

I wonder how long it will take to outsell the entire series put together.

The series has over 45 million sales so...might take them some time.
